Reading Service Body Proves to be Concrete Aid

Company Name: Balmer Brothers
Reading Products: Classic® Series service body
Type of Service: Concrete Construction

Balmer Brothers recently purchased a Reading Classic® Series service body.
The Reading Classic® Series service body offers weathertight exterior storage compartments and an open cargo area.
The Classic® Series service body was customized with the addition of extra-long Tool-Mate toolboxes mounted to the side rails of the service body.
According to Dennis Balmer, Balmer Brothers has been purchasing Reading bodies since 1974 because they are “the most sturdy.”
Balmer Brothers has about 20 Reading service bodies in their fleet, and uses them to transport all the tools and equipment necessary for concrete construction including aluminum wall forms, rod cutters, basic construction tools and a generator. The generator is mounted on a roll-out-tray and stored in the front vertical compartment. The Tool-Mate toolboxes contain extra long shovels.
Balmer Brothers handles residential, commercial and agricultural concrete construction, including concrete foundations, floors and waterproofing. Balmer Brothers services the Eastern half of Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
Balmer Brothers purchased their Classic® Series service body through Crest Truck Equipment, an authorized Reading distributor located in Bowmansville, PA.
Standard Reading features include construction of two-sided A60 galvannealed steel combined with Reading’s Lectro-Life® immersion priming. Lectro-Life® acts as a critical aid in the fight against rust and corrosion; flange-mounted rubber door seals provide weathertight protection to tools and equipment stored in the compartments; and stainless steel bolt-on hinges offer greater security and smooth operation of the compartment doors in all weather conditions.
